The tires i have on my truck are maxxis buckshot m/ts. This is what i can say about them...in the mud they are great, any offroading they are very good. On the highway there not the best but there m/ts so i didnt expect them to ride luxurious. They arent too bad on the highway though, ive def. seen a lot worse. As for snow/and ice...i just got these in april so they havent seen any snow yet. Its comming though, i am curious to see how they do in the snow. In the rain i havent had any problems with them, im ussualy carefull when its raining because i have heard so many people say m/ts suck in the rain. They are also pretty affordable... i paid 600 out the door for mine. 265/75/16s.

Nitto Terra Grapplers are the way to go. Ride just like factory and barely any road noise.

My stockers did good in the snow imo. I have Maxxis buckshot m/ts on now, and im curious to see how they do in the snow this winter. I have heard a lot of people say m/ts are not good in snow but i will find out. Also i know my tires have little holes for spikes for the snow.

BFG a/t's have a servere snow rating (look for a mountain with a snowflake on top off it). I believe this will meet the quebec legislation for snow tires.

I know at discount tire we wouldn't put studs in if you have driven on them. The holes get filled with stuff and its an extreme amount of work (more than new tires anyhow) to stud them. You may get lucky, but I wouldn't even bother on a 4X4 pickup.
