Mileage numbers for an 03 SC 4X4 CC
I was wondering what other owners if any, of 2003 Frontier SC 4X4 Crew Cab's are getting? Highway only, and highway, city combined. I just got mine, and so far it is looking like around 13 to 14 MPG for highway, and city combined. Oh, and I am running super unleaded gas 93 octane.

Hi NissanTy,
Thank you for the reply. My manual says to run at least 91 octane, I am guessing due to the supercharger. Around here, 91 to 93 octane is super unleaded. I was hoping to get what you are getting but I am getting what I was getting in my 1993 Nissan 4X4 pickup. The difference between your mileage, and mine may also be the extra weight of my crew cab configuration, and then also the supercharger. I just got it, so I will keep trying to analyze the mileage.

no problem, also not sure if this affects you but the cooler air in thw winter also makes for worse milage due to the cooler air charge going into the intake and burning for fuel due to the more oxygen, so you may notice a better MPG in the spring/summer time also.

Thanks NissanTy,
That's a good point, didn't really consider that, just figured there would be a compensation for that factor. I will be keeping an accurate account of mileage, and fuel burn, so sooner or later, I will get it figured out.

Mine's not supercharged but it's an 01 crew cab 4x4 5spd and I get 18mpg city/hwy combined.

My '02 is a SC CC LB. With my 32" MTs I get about 12-13mpg. With my 265/70/16 ATs on there I can get 16 MPGs if i'm easy on the pedal. Remember I got big hunks of steel hanging off the front and back too.
