If you just want the dodge b/c of the cummins i've heard that ford is switching to cummins soon. Unless of course you just like dodge - in which case I'm sorry - lol!!!

I think the new Silverados are pretty nice..a guy in my Linux class was raving about them. Their designed really well and and I've heard good things about it. There's lots of good trucks out there in my opinion..but I'm sure i'll get flamed for it..so it's not worth mentioning.

I was looking at the '07 Silverado at the dealer last week (just for kicks) and the interior on the upscale model is sumptuous. The exterior leaves me unmoved; I don't see much different from the previous model other than that big ol' sliver band across the grille. I think the one I looked at was like $34K. They seem to offer lesser trim packages too, as there were some '07s that had the same old blocky looking dash and a durable workingman's interior.

if theres one thing i can say about chevy/gmc, you can get a NICE *** truck if your willing to pay for it. my dads suburbans were almost as nice inside as the high end BMW/MBZ interiors. wood trim, plush leather seats, seat heaters, memory for the seats, 14way e-adjustment, high end sterio systems, puddle lights, the list goes on...his dodge is nice, but not nearly as upscale as the burbans. The only reason he went ram is because they stopped making the 3/4 ton burban with the 8.1L...so they no longer had the 10klb tow rating he needed

Every new vehicle is said to be designed well, or at least better than the year before. With the price tag of a couple hunderdthousand dollars each new model year costs I would sure hope so. But dont worry Just when you think the have hit the pinnicle of that vehicle they find another problem to fix, equipment to change, or kill the project completly and start all over with a new vehicle, new problems and a whole lot more money that the manufactures didnt have the year before.

Estimated cost for any new vehicle in 2040 $98,999 Enjoy the $25-$40,000 thrucks while you can lol. (this statment completly fictional)

Agreed and it's puzzling why GM then put such a low-buck interior in Colorado/Canyon. My SE is pretty basic, lacking door fabric, multi-adjustment seats and silver details around gauges and vents, but even Frontier SE still has a better look and feel than Coly/Canyon.

because the coly/can is a entry level truck...people with money are going for the larger truck cuz they can afford them...
