That makes me feel alittle better. I didn't know that all these people had issues with the bolts. I think I will go to the dealer.

So, I just went to the dealer (Mossy National City) and they said they do not have a bolt part number. But gave me a grade 8 bolt for free. The bolt fits fine. I am going to stop by H.D. and get some lock tight and put that on all the 4 bolts back there.

Passenger side bolt was loose on the locking mechanism attached to the tailgate...I had a hard time closing the tailgate, and then I saw the loose bolt. Retightened it and the tailgate has been closing fine everysince.

i'm glad you got the tailgate situation fixed. i always keep my tailgate locked. sometimes it is annoying when i jump out (with the key in the ignition) then realize the tailgate is locked, then you know what needs to happen. better safe than sorry. atleast, as much as we can be.

BTW, Mossy is great. i bought mine from Kearny Mesa and have not had any problems with them.

Lewy, i also sent you a PM.

I keep mine locked so they can't steal my bed extender.
