Alright, I know most of us here love our trucks. I have 2011 SV trim with the Premium Utility Package and it meets 99% of my needs/wants. Oh sure, every now and then I wish I had the Pro-4X with its elocker, but since I don't really do any hardcore offroading, the ABLS system gets me where I want to go sufficiently.
Anyway, I started thinking about the features that I hardly use. For me, it's the aux input for the audio system. I listen mostly to talk radio or I burn mp3s on CDs. (mp3 playback capability is awesome.) Other features I could do without are XM radio (I don't have a subscription), and the switch to turn off the bed cargo light. Actually, being able to turn off the cargo light is quite useful, it's just the way it's done that's kinda backwards.
What about you guys? I'm curious to know what features you could do without.
Seriously. I don't use the 6 cd changer. I haven't had my truck for long, but I don't even think about using it. I do use the aux for my satellite radio. The truck didn't come with one. Came with the ipod dock which I will probably never use. I'm not a big fan of the auto dim rearview mirror either.
For me it's that little thing that counts how much time that the engine has been on since you reset the clock. I still don't know what you would use that for.. Maybe a service thing? I would prefer an trip timer or something.
I have no features on My truck that I don't use almost weekly... I use the bed light and Utlitrack system almost every weekend for ORV fun... I don't have a rear locker (Sad as can be) and I use my AUX input a lot as well... Even my 4 low gets used a lot... I guess I cant play this game =[ But I am curious to see other responses.
