The Last Straw

Well i have had my 06 frontier sence Aug, think its time is over. The truck has 12k on it, and has been the biggest turd i have ever owned. If you ask why ill post the problems.....

The first problem is cab to bed damage, from minor flexing. The brakes have the same ol ford design that i hate with a passion, makes me love my old dodge more and more. And on the same note the electrical system is garabage (sp) i had my same system in my dodge with just zero guage wire, now i have a batcap and the truck still dims worse. Were the trailer brakes go is lame, im on my 3rd set, those all lost on road pulling outa driveways, i deliver pizza.... The abs shutter offroad is horriable. The Lack of aftermarket is just as bad, even though i should be at blame for not checking on that first. The seats and just over all finsh just seem chinchy. Had my truck towed in 2 days ago cause the start went out, took them 3 days to fix. Oh and back to the breaks, i have taken it in 2 times for the thing leaking break fluid, everytime, oh we fixed it. The dang heater takes ages to ever warm up, i mean i know some of this seems small, but im tired of the same ol BS. Bye Bye Nissian.... May try a Taco or a GM

Mine is brand new. Less than 400 miles and it scares the crap out of me to read something like this.

Hope mine holds together.

He's in the gross minority. Odds are, you're just about as golden as the rest of us who are happy with Nissan and the Frontier.

Hopefully Sweaty can sweat in a different vehicle that makes him happy.

I really dont know what to say but Ive had mine for 11 months and 29 days and the only issue I had with it was with the steering(column) system and the nissan service center where I bought it. Other than that some id*** ding my side door panel, thats all I can complain, now that my truck is fixed. I am happy with my truck and its a SE 2006 CC 2x 4. But I took care of it.

is this guy a troll?

seriously, i bought my truck because of the other nissan vehicles that we own, a 94 pathfinder with 250,000 muiles on it and no major work done and an 04 xterra with 60,000 miles on it and one crash by me on the freeway. both vehicles are still running strong and i would not hesitate to take them on a cross country trip anytime.

i am sad that all this happened to Sweaty but it kinda makes you think why the heck he would need to tow something while delivering pizza? also like people all trucks are not the same. these new nissans run most of their electronics through a main computer, something i am sure old american irons do not have.....

And no im not a troll, i dont like this truck, if u cant handle the good and the bad dont read it.... There are a few thinks i like but the bad things seem to out weigh the good...

Sorry to hear about your experiences. I traded a 2004 Colorado for my Frontier. Same kind of experience you had. Check out the other forums though. Coloradofans.com is a good one for the Colorado if that's where you are going. Good luck on you next purchase.
