KC vs CC

Thinking of trading in the 05 KC LE for a 08 CC SE or LE...

Upside for either...?
Downside...?

Here's some of mine...

...I like the KC look better, but EVERY person that rides in the back of it complains about it. CC would stop it.

...I like that I can install a sub enclosure in a CC and it wont be so noticeable and in the way.

...I like the KC longer bed. Could get the CC with it, but I'm sure its harder to find and more expensive. I eventually want to get an ATV.

...Kinda tired of trying to keep my black truck looking clean. Would probably switch to silver.

...Been abusing the LE. Starting to make weird noises sometimes. Kinda wanna start fresh with a new one.

...miss the new car smell too.

I've been very happy with my 07 CC 4x4 Long Bed SE. The turning radius is the only negative as well as the driveline slack that comes with the longer two piece steel drive shaft. I feel your pain on having a black vehicle. It's the third time I've made that mistake....but it looks so awesome for the 30 minutes after you wash it while it' still clean. It's also great to have the 4 doors and roomy seating in the rear. My 90 yearold grandma had no complaints....unlike the time she got stuck in the back seat of my integra..lol

I went fron a kc to a cc and it is way more convenient. I also have the long bed and an ATV which fits nicely in the back, I only use a trailer when we need 2 or more ATV's. The turning radius isn't great but not that big of an issue compared to what you get in return. It's a great truck, good luck.

i went from a cc back to kc.

i just like the looks and the nimbleness of the kc when your in those tight spots.

if you need the space a cc is a must. theres not much space in the kc for passengers but, its great for work gear and stuff like that.

nimbleness of the KC? isnt it exactly the same as a CC shorty?

OP: no complaints about my CC and I've ridden in the back (crammed between two car seats no less and leaning forward the whole time because my shoulders didnt fit if I tried to sit back.)

They aren't too hard to find and don't think there is much difference in cost, possibly only $500 which is VERY WELL spent. This is my second long bed and would never go without it. As far as KC vs. CC, there is no downside to a larger passenger compartment.
