Yes, you have a problem. Remove the hitch and grind off enough to give clearance!

well actually it shouldnt be the biggest problem the shackles tech arent supposed to move.

Anyone got pics or will go check theirs? I just bought it so if there is a problem with this I want to let the seller know.

I have the exact setup that you have (08 CC Curt hitch). I just installed the hitch a week ago. I went out and checked and I have almost 1/2" of clearance on mine. Whereas it's not much I think I have plenty. Looking at yours I would say that yours might not have been made right.
As a side note, can someone take pic of the Nissan one so we can see how much clearance the factory hitch gives? |

My curt hitch has clearance. I would just grind the back down a bit or see if you can loosen all the bolts for the hitch and move the hitch slightly towards the rear.

Here's mine, its a tight fit. If I remember correctly the holes were slotted, so you should be able to scoot it around a bit before you tighten it down. Don't grind it, you'll ruin the powder coat and then you're open to rust.

Thanks for the pics and comments. I've contacted Curt mfg. to see what they'll do. I loosened it up and it wont move any and found its hitting in the rear bumper area too.
