Any tire shop that does much business at all will have tires made late enough you should never have a problem. Most ones I saw were less than a year old, and that was the slow selling tires.

Damn, i didn't even think about tires having a shelf life. A friend of mine had a blow out just like the ones they showed in the video. Luckily she was able to just pull over and call her husband. They thought she ran something over to cause the tread to come off and rip the rear bumper off of her Sentra. Now i know that age of the tire could have been a factor.
