It is possible to damage the throttle blade control motor by moving the throttle blade (usually happens when you leave the ignition on while moving blade). Neither of the tps sensors or the throttle control motor at available separately, you must purchase the whole throttle chamber assey, and there will be a core charge. Its not common, but not unheard of to damage it.
As previously stated, its most likely a incomplete iavl relearn, but without the proper tools (consult 2 or 3) there is no way to know.

Hmm, that's too bad then if it did get damaged and interesting being able to damage the throttle blade motor...done this to several other cars that had DBW (no cable), but never did it with the ignition on though. Won't take a chance with this one then, as far as moving the TB blade by hand and going to try the method described above instead (using somebody to press the gas pedal). However, probably be some time until I end up doing it, as I only have 15k as of now.

Well, suppose he could try the relearn procedure first and hopefully there is no damage done, as that would suck!

I've done the relearn many times now, with no success. I know there is a TSB on this issue so I think I'm going to bring it to the dealer and have them look at it. I have a service contract on the vehicle so it shouldn't cost me anything.

I have regretably, cleaned my throttle body (chamber) and had the P0507 code set. Tried the relearn several times with no luck. Had a friend that works at the local Nissan dealer reset everything with a Consult II and it's all operating properly at this time! I bought the whole Service Dept. pizza for lunch. It was the least I could do!

This may work...

Like it seems others I cleaned my throttle body without first checking to see if it was ok on the forums, and now I have the dreaded P0507 high idle code. I couldn't bring myself to even buy the $200 junk yard TB, so after some research on other vehicles I found this stuff:

Buy Dow Corning DC 321 MolyKote Dry Film Lubricant Spray - 11 Oz. Aerosol Can at SkyGeek.com

They apparently use it on Misu's for the same problem. Check out this thread.

throttle body plate sealant - evolutionm.net

I'm going to give it a try.

I've also heard of guys using tomei throttle coat to solve the issue but if you want to clean the TB 3M has a cleaning kit that is "coated throttle safe" according to the lablel. I've cleaned my throttle with CRC a couple times before but it never threw i code i did it again at 90k and it has thrown a code.

edit: a post i found on mitsu http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-eng...e-sealing.html

also i believe you can use Loctite Moly Dry Film
