I'm not familiar with the RF deck in the Frontier. But if you can select AUX on source and your unit has AUX input in the back, then you will just need to get a longer cable to route it to the front of the deck. Those cable can be purchased from BestBuy, CircuitCity, etc...

Mine is 07 but I don't have AUX input though. I don't have RF in mine.

yea on the 07's RF, there is a plug on the front of the head. It even shows it on the Nissan site.

I didn't have the RF head so I had the same problem. I tried using an in-line modulator by Scosche with my mp3 player and it worked but sounded like pure garbage so I ended up just getting a new JVC head with an aux input. I would read some reviews on any type modulator before buying it. A LOT of people gave that scosche model great reviews but apparently their speakers were crap or they hadn't cleaned out their ears in a while.

Do you know how good of qualiaty the fm transmitters are?

I have a feeling that you wont get near the quality you would with a straight cable
