How to wire Leer cap brake light into brake light system

Got my Leer cap R&R'd from my '06 LE (written off)to my '09 Pro 4X
Body shop did the install but wouldn't do the wiring for the brake light.

I've got two wires coming from the cap. There are three wires going into the brake bulb inside the tail light. How do I figure out which wires to splice into?
Any links or wiring diagrams would be appreciated.

If you have the hitch, why not go to the trailer connector? That way it is included in the relay load and won't screw up your other lights. I think the hitch connector is marked.

Because the hitch has combined brake and turns. You look like a retard when the third brake light is blinking with the turn signals.

I forget the color codes, but the 3 wires are; ground, tail and brake. I would either have to go into the service manual or realisticly just use a test light to see what each does.
