With all due respect, this is total rubbish. If this was even half an issue the government would step in...Maybe making all air stations FREE would save a few more lives. They all cost a dollar or more here. And thats if your lucky enough to have quarters
Yea, thats all we need, more govt stepping in and demanding
all gas stations provide free air. Must be living on the left coast.

Funny thing happened now that this thread is up. My TPS light came on the morning on my way to work, chalked it up to being cold. 3 of the tires were only 7lbs low, but the last one was hovering at about only 24. What do you know there's a small nail in my tire. So, I kinda like it now, even though it won't go off now that all the tires are proper pressure...

How far did you drive it after airing the tires up?
If you air the tires up while the key is in run the light will clear without having to drive. But if you air them up with the key off you will have to drive to clear the light.
The sensors send a signal not only when driving but also when the pressure is changing.

TPMS might be good for the general population who knows nothing about their vehicles. But I don't need them. I check my tires religiously (mostly because I love my 35" KM2's and just like to look at them before every time I get in). Although, when my TPMS light goes on I do go check my tires again just to be safe. It's been on since winter kicked in.

Anything less than 40psi in each tire or my light comes on this time of year. I am going to change to 17's and I am still debating on switching the sensors to the new set.
