Help Identifying an Odd Sound...

Hey everyone, I have a sound that is worrying me. I have a 2005 CC, 6 speed manual, 4.0L V6 with 33400 Miles. Recently I have heard a "twitering" or chirping sound when coasting or decelerating, clutch out. At first I thought it was brakes, but then noticed the correlation with the clutch and now worry it might be drivetrain. Anyone else had this or suggestions on what to start checking?

Rut Rho!

It sounds like the throwout bearing is making noise. I take it that when under load, there is no sound?

You are still in warranty. You may want to bring it into the stealership.

Correct, when there is load there is no sound, it is only when there is no load that I hear it. Stealership here I come. Great.

Might also be worth looking @ the u-joints. Does it sound anything like a squeaky spring going really fast? Check your drive shaft for excessive play.

Update:

so I am just back from the dealer. quote: "we've never really seen anything like this...". Apparently the Driveshaft is faulty somehow. Also, the driveshaft is somehow different from all the other frontys because it is a 6 spd CC. So they have ordered it and it will arrive in 3-6 WEEKS! Until then, they have told me to drive it as normal. Geez. Only good thing is that it is completely warranty.
