Fx 50?
When did nssan come out with this engine? I had to learn through my mom today that the Infinity FX has a 5 liter 390 HP engine in it. I told her she was crazy Nissan makes no 5.0. I was wrong? Is this engine in anything else?
This is a shock to me!

no it is not, but it should be...its based off the 4.5L engine

classic nissan engineering. they will take the same block they have used for years, add a little bore or stroke to bump up the displacement. vg30 to vg33. vq35 to vq40. vk45 to vk50.
you think the next gen titan will have the same vk56? id bet not.

The power rating is way above the 5.6. I wouldn't mind a 5.0 390 HP in my frontier!

most likely not...but then again they may do a vk5.9 or 6.1, we will probably see a cummins diesel in the titan when chrysler takes over...

What am I thining??? With gas prices, can nissan build me a 1.3 liter inline 3 cylinder turbo deisel? Or something that runs on my farts because we know they are plentiful!

I actually passed gas as I read your comment MRED! Thank you and I will let you know when you can buy stock in EverFart Industries. Stocks will be up tomorrow as I will be feasting at Taco Bell say around noonish. A little inside trading tip for you. Might wanna invest some money in waste management around 6PM too! HAHA!
