Smile Frontier resale value?

KBB.com just updated thier database with some new 08 vehicles, and my Frontier is looking pretty good as far as blue book value. I know dealers dont really go by that but it's good for us consumers as something to shoot for. Has anyone traded in thier 2nd gen Frontier and did you get good trade in value for it?

thing is i just checked kelly blue book out a short while ago. after hearing all the stories about dealers giveing away 08's. my truck booked for 20,000 and some change private party.
i usually look at private party because it is in between trade-in and retail values.and i generally sell my veichles myself. i have an 07 kc se 4x4 with 8,000 miles on it. i know these aren't always the most accurate sources but, seeing people saying they are getting new kc & cc 4x4 se's for around 16,000.00 made me very curious as to the values, used veichles are bringing in.

i was also pleasantly surprised to see edmunds reviews second gen 05+ had
183 consumer reviews. which was several more then there was when i was shopping for my truck. they averaged 4.8 out of 5.0

I am happy with kbbs trade in value for my truck. Last time i checked it was around 14000 dollars trade (05 nismo kk with 50k on it). I look at the trade in values of other trucks with less miles on them, and there a lot lower than ours...the chevys, fords, and most of all dodge.

I paid around 19 for it when i bought it almost 2 years ago with 30k on it...and now the trade in is 14 so really i cant complain to much, its held its value better than most trucks.

I have gotten at least KBB value for every vehicle I've traded in at the dealer I've been using for the past few years. I think the key is that you cannot expect 'excellent' value because no matter how pristine you think your truck it, I guarantee there's something that precludes it being considered 'excellent'. (really, I'm not sure why they even bother listing 'excellent'.)
