Measure your front seat and then compare to your back seat. I think it will be pretty clear.

I had a supercrew F150 "King Ranch" with quad captain chairs. 2003 IIRC. The rear captains were much smaller than the fronts. The center console was a variation of the front console. Don't think it held enough stuff to negate the need for a bed cover though.

Not mine, but you get the idea:

Re: Dual Rear Captain Seats (CC)

That's my point, I am pretty sure that the front seats are significantly thicker than rear seats. the. you.have to figure out the angle required to make them remotely comfortable. If it works I will gladly eat my words, and probably swap mine out too.

I just can't see how buying two seats and fitting a center consul is cheaper than buying a tonneau cover.

Hell today I bought a piece of diamond plate, had it cut to fit my.bed and tool box. Now I am working on making a frame and pivot for it. I should be at a total of 200 when I'm done.

I don't remember the exact price but it was < $800 (CAD) for the Nissan OEM soft trifold at the dealership (had it added to the vehicle during purchase). And I don't care if you can get in with a knife I can get into a fiberglass hardtop with certain items too. If someone wants in they will get in.

Sorry bud little bit of misunderstanding. i meant add another single seat in the back. Currrently there's a bench and a single(captain?) in the rear of my CC. i would take out the bench and then install another single.

i believe your referring to the front seat, in which yes there would be no room.

Wait, so you had them remove the bench seat and replace it with the trifold?

I know what your saying now...

Wouldn't the cuts on the sides of the seats be the wrong way though? Like one would taper outward more and the other side would be cut straight to fit against the bench portion?

Also now that I understand what your were talking about, your going to need some serious bracket mods to make it work.

Regardless I'm interested to see how in turns out Post up pics!

Re: Dual Rear Captain Seats (CC)

Why is it so damn much for a tonnaeu cover? You can't find one for $400 at most? Who would pay $1500 for a cover?

no... you said in your original post however that they were $1500-2000 yet even paying dealership pricing there are tonneau options for much cheaper than that.
