dropped off the Nismo at the dealer today
I went to start my truck this morning and found that the battery was almost dead. I tried to start again and all I got was the clicking. Wonderful. I put the battery on the charger to see if maybe I just had a bad cell on the battery. After about an hour, the truck was capable of starting right up. I checked the voltage while still at the house and I was getting 14.4 volts on my alternator tester with the truck running and 12.5v without the truck running. I drove on to work thinking that maybe the battery was just tapped....when I got there, I checked with the truck running again and it was only 12 volts. So - I'm running it down to a shorted battery or a bad alternator. .

Same thing happened to me several months ago and then finally the truck would not start at all even with jumper cables on. Had the truck towed to the stealership and it ended up being that my battery cables were corroded

Picked the truck up that afternoon. They said it was a bad battery.......so I had it replaced and all is well for now. We'll see how long it holds up. It's strange to have to pay to have a batery replaced and then they tell you that the new battery has an 84 month warranty on it. Strange.
