drivers door adjustment

Hey Guys. The drivers door on my 2006 Frontier was hit today as I opened it, causing it to be pushed out of alignment. No visible paint damage but you have to lift the end of it so it closes properly. Anyone know if the adjustments are relatively easy to do or if it will be a major repair bill? Gotta love little old men who can't see and want to park in a spot thats too small for most vehicles to fit.

Minor alignment can be done with (Torx) adjustment fasteners, but if your poor door took a shot from a moving car, I suspect that a hinge might have been bent and that will require a repair. I'm sorry to read about this; I am paranoid about where I park. Too many idiot drivers out there.

I would take it to a pro to check the damage. I would just ask them for an estimate first.

If you are under warranty, and since their is no visible damage. Take it to the dealer and tell them your door has some issues. I noticed it a while back, but it has only gotten worse.

Turned out the hinges were in fact bent. Dealer fixed it up in a day.
