Door Sticker?

Why does the door sticker payload rating differ from the specs from Nissan. The door sticker says it is somewhere near 1250 while the specs i believe say 1390?

Dealer add on's

My 2010 SE has the 'Value Package' which includes the hitch, sliding rear window and Tow pkg. There is a sticker added to the door jam that reduces the hauling/towing capacity by the weight of those items.

Some models may have different specs depending on the equipment included from the factory.

Those stickers were added by Nissan corporate attorneys. In case you crash or cause damage while overloaded, the stickers remove liability by Nissan.
Adding the stickers is cheaper than reprinting the original ones.
