Who makes some good rigid cabin filter replacements for our trucks? So far I have tried STP and Wix and both are too flexible and soft. They crunch up when installing. Thanks.
They all seem to be a little flexible, although I'm in the same boat as G-Loc - the best ones I've used so far are the FRAM CF10553 Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter... IMO works better than OEM and other plain filters since these have Arm & Hammer baking soda and carbon.
I use the MicroGard filters. In my opinion cabin filters don't need to filter at the same level as say an engine filter. The thicker filters with carbon are too restrictive.
Wix usually makes great products, but I agree that the cabin air filters for the Frontier are not very good. As mentioned, they scrunch up when you insert them. The end caps also tear off when trying to pull them out.
