Yes, we've already had it done. Is 110% better. Feels like new again and is silent.

How many miles were on your truck when you had it done? Any hassle at the dealer? I pulled my calipers, looked at the pads and rotors BEFORE finding out about this TSB. Put everything back together and it does not squeak as loud- hopefully it will before I get to the dealer...

We had around 12,000 miles. I had taken it in to the dealer 2 times before complaining about it prior to the TSB release so they had a record of my problem ahead of time. The dealer had no issue in doing it and was very nice about it. From the TSB it appears you get almost a full brake job except for rotors being turned or replaced.

The squeak we had was worse when it was cold or damp out.

Good luck!

They might offer to sell you some new brake pads. Don't be surprised if they tell you you're a few thousand miles too late.

Well, had the front brakes redone per the TSB. New pads, hardware and they turned my rotors. Total cost- $0.00!

However, they checked my alignment, as I asked for, and found it out. Alignment done as well, cost $80.95 anter 10% discount. I'm glad to have it done, but I complained about a pull after I bought the truck 6 weeks ago. I mentioned this and got the 10%, but I may contact the Service Manager or GM and ask to be reimbursed for the alignment. Do you think that is too picky of me?

Does your truck have the adjustable camber bolts? They normally install them if your truck came without them and you have an alignment issue within 12 months/12,000 miles. I had them installed on my truck. Since you have more time or mileage than that, you could be considered being picky. At least they took care of your brake system free of charge.
