I have that
Works great. Put the bikes in backwards and turn the handle bars if you need the space. I put a rachet strap across the bikes to keep them in place and works perfectly. Been using it for a few years now.

Roll your own:
Make your own Bike Rack Same idea, this will cost you a fraction of what that one will.

Will 3 bikes fit side by side in our beds without beating each other up?
Looks nice but here are a couple of other thoughts (FWIW) 1) You basicly loose use of your bed for coolers, tents, grill other play things you might want to take with you when hauling bikes this way. 2)This is going to require climbing in/over the bed to get bikes in/out without scratching everything up. 3) Seems like bikes would move around a bit ( as nothing is clamped firmly) so extra strapping (on all 3) may be required. JMHO, but I preffer the trailer hitch mounted flavor. Easy to get 3 bikes on off/ preserves your bed space, very secure hold on the bike frame without additional straps. As a bonus, it will follow you from vehicle to vehicle with no mods.

1. you don't need to take tents/camping gear all the time when you go biking 2. climbing into the bed isn't really that big a deal. 3. yeah, strapping might be necessary. For a camping setup, I have an above-the-bed rack setup. For normal days, i just lay them down.

Cool Im gonna make me one of those pvc bike racks. I only have one bike but its a pain to keep it tied down to where it wont flip over on its side while driving. Cant go wrong with a $20 bike rack. It says on there that PVC will sun rot if exposed to the sun alot.....isnt there some pvc you can buy that is resistant to sun rot? Or am I just imagining this?
