When looking for the best incentives, when is the best time to buy a new vehicle? I know there isn't a black and white answer to this question, but there must be a time of the year when the incentives might be a little better than other times.
dude all the info you need (I hope I dont get in trouble for the link) is in this artilce on how to buy a new vehilce. Its an awsome article definitely read it. Any one who is thinking of going to a stealership should read this http://www.carbuyingtips.com/carintro.html
great read take your time and read it again good luck.
Whenever you want a new car. You just need to find out the dealers cost and start there not at sticker and work down. Be firm and don't budge. Tell them you will pay invoice and they still have their "holdback". If they say no, give your phone number and get up and leave. Go to the next dealer. All my cars have been at invoice or within $200 of invoice.
They NEED your money more than you need their car.
also buy online, the lowest price is there becouse they know withen 5 seconds you can be looking at there compeator. I got mine from Carsdirect, got everything I wanted cheaper then any one else.
I'm trying this the next time I buy a vehicle. With my Fronty, I purchased it through Costco and paid $200 below invoice (before taking rebate into consideration).
I've got my best deals at the end of the year. The dealerships usually are in a better mood to negotiate because it's christmas. I don't know if it's because their sales are low due to everyone spending money for the holidays or it's because they just trying to make room for the new stuff...or maybe both. But it my experience, end of year was the best. If you planning to buy another nissan, go now while they still have those rebates. I managed to get $3000 on presidents day weekend.
Usually end of the month is a good time to buy. Nissan's fiscal year ends March 31, so this weekend would be great or you can put a little more pressure on the dealer by walking in on Monday to close the deal.
Both true.
I found my truck online last June ( end of the month, shopping leftovers)through NISSAN'S dealer locator then searched inventory. It's a good way to find who has what on their lots without geting sales pressure . My first email inquiry was responded to by " we'll do invoice price on this truck and you keep the rebates." I eventually got it for $400 under invoice after pitting a couple dealers against each other with the "I'm buying one of htese trucks today" game.
Remember dealers get a factory holdback that goes up as monthly sales volume goes up. It's in their interest to sell you a truck even if they don't make a dime on the initial sale.
Last advice, go to Edmonds.com, print the invoice price of the model/options your looking for. Then start at that invoice and work down. Hard to loose doing it that way.
