Best body lift mfg.??

I plan to do a body lift on my 07 4X4 CC LB to fit a 32"-33" tire. Any one have any suggestions on which might be a better lift. I'm keeping the bumpers, so relocation brackets are a must. I want a 3" lift (for starters) any opinions, pros and cons, on different body lifts and manufacturers would be greatly appreciated. I also need to keep the stock rims for now so any problems you've encountered with tire fitment would also help.

Thanks,
Anthony

Performace Accessories is pretty much the only bodylift company out there, and they are the only one who makes one for our trucks. This is the bl that AC sells.
Other routes to take are 4Crawler, which is going to be much higher quality, but a little more DIY, or you could just do the DIY bodylift.

A lot of people using the PA kit since it's complete with all parts you'd need.

You could do the PRG 2 or 3 inch mini lift, that's what I did. Be aware that there may be some welding involved on the frame for the bed lift (from what I've heard, but I haven't installed a BL before)

I have looked at both options and am personally leaning towards the suspension lift over the body lift. But still torn between the PRG Kit and the Fabtach Kit. The way I look at it the Body Kit appears to be cheaper to buy but much more complex to install. According to the PA instructions http://www.performanceaccessories.co...ions/40083.pdf for the 05/06 Fronty there is definitely cutting and welding.

So it seems like if you were to pay someone to install the body kit, it would wind up costing you more than simply installing the PRG kit yourself. Some of the things that need to be cut include the bumper mounts, fuel filler hose, shift lever, etc. Imagine that you've got to disconnect everything that ties the frame and body together, lift the body and then re-attach all of those items. Any item that is attached to both the frame and the body is now potentially 3" too short and will need to be extended.

Ya installing a BL is a PITA not b/c it's hard but b/c it's very tedious with many steps. It can be done in a day working nonstop. I just worked on it a little everyday over a weekend.

x2 I would go with a suspension lift first to see that is how much lift you want then add the body lift if you want more. You would be amazed in how much a 2inch lift will add to your truck

Steve, what would it take to get 4Crawler to make a complete kit?
