Yup...you nailed it. But through further discussion with Nissan, they said that they would replace it, under warranty. The bend is on the Rear left. It is bent right where the axle meets the the brake rotors. He says that is why it is squeeking and there is no such thing as an anti-squeal pin on our trucks. (I was told that by another Nissan dealership...) Any ways, the differential and axle and abs are on the way, and will be here by Wednesday.

And to the guy who is complaining about squeaks at 9K miles, take whoevers advice it was about the hood latches. That is what the deal was with mine, and they fixed that, no more squeeks!

I have a horrible!! squeak from the rear...im just assuming its the helper leaf springs i installed...used to have squeaking problems with the break...got that replaced at 11.5k...glad i had them check the breaks..

I have 4.8K on my '08. It gets worked like a dog daily. I can't hear one squeak, in fact my last '07 Tacoma squeaked and rattle since new. Please tell me this is just rare, because I hope this '08 doesn't start squeaking and rattling at 9K

i bent my axle before and they don't have to change the whole 4wd system thats bogus. I had popped bearings and my brakes where getting a beating from the best axle. I found out after i swirved into a curve pretty hard and then the tire wobbles. I bought new rims and took it to the dealer( my se's had major scratches) i said" its been raining alot,, so the music is on loud and windows up, and when this one day of sunshine came out i roled down the window and it was squeeking like hell" they bought it n i got it done in a week. 1200 they quoted just parts. Go for the warranty man. and take the loaner.
