Bed cover help

I have the Tri-Fecta bed cover that has the spring loaded catches that latches it shut and apparently something either came loose or broke inside the tailgate because it won't unlock.......so does anyone know how to get the cover open without destroying the cover so I can get to the access panel on the tailgate and fix my lock issue?

Can you put wood shims between the tailgate and cover like when a locksmith gets into a car and see if you can put something in to release the cover?
Know anyone with a bore scope so you can see inside?
Good luck, it's a frustrating situation I'm sure.

I got it after work. I used a 2x4 between the cover and tailgate and then went to the side near the latch and used a long screwdriver to push from the topside of the latch. Once it popped opened, I was able to raise it high enough to stick my arm inside and pull the other one.
Everything is all good now.

Couldn't find anything, so I moved it back and forth by hand a few times and tightened a bolt (very little) and now it works fine.
