Anyone had engine work done to their 05-08 fronty?

Im about to take her in to the stealership, to discuss the morning piston rattle, that evidently no one else has. Along with that D&*M crooked front bumper. Was wondering if anyone else had this issue, and had it fixed.

I have the TSB for the "Camshaft Sprocket Rattle" to take with me.

Has anyone else had this issue, and if so, what was the solution?
I would like to have all my bases covered before I get there. Its hard to deal with dealers these days to get things done. They all want to say that they dont know what youre talking about....

And I dont feel like trying to get rid of her. Just want the issues resolved before I park it in the showroom windows......

Any help would be greatly appreciated.....j

I dont have the engine rattle, but after a minor fender bender(hitand run, f'n ahole), my bumper was slightly off. I drove me nuts, and I wanted it perfect. Not hard, but time consuming. Take the grill off. Look from the top down next to the headlights, you will see two bolt heads that go through the mounting tabs for the bumper. Loosen the bolts a few turns and insert some body adjument washers(they look like small horseshoes with a tab) under the bumper mount. 2- 1/8" made the muper come up just shy of 1/4" which is all I needed.

Was this whine all the time or at certain speeds? I have some noise at highway speeds whenever my foot is on the gas at constant or increasing speeds. If I let off it stops.

I've got the rattle also, 19K miles so far. it is very brief at start up. does definately sound like a piston on the drivers side rattleing at start up.

Guys,

Bought an 08 CC SE V6 6ft bed with Manual transmission (3 months old 560 miles). I've been having a knock/ticking noise after the engine is warmed up and the noise gets louder as RPM's increase. Today I took it to the dealership and their head mechanic said it was a normal noise from the engine and could even be the flywheel, but it was a normal noise.

Anyone else have this noise coming from the drivers side lower portion of the engine? I think something is loose internally personally, and I will give it time to see if it gets worse. I did get it documented that it started at 500 miles though, so that will help in the fight with Nissan North America.
