The problem is they haven't updated the gd service bulletin to cover new trucks. My dealer wouldn't take care of it, so I just did the method myself and it worked. I posted a thread about it, but it was awhile ago and I can't remember what words exactly to tell you to search for.

I can't say for 100% sure because I couldn't compare an 05 to my 07, but I think Nissan actually added an additional brace to the seat, which is probably why the newer trucks aren't covered by the TSB.

Problem is that brace didn't work on all trucks. Doing the TSB repair myself blew, but the rattle is gone. In the end it wasn't any more of an inconvenience than a dealer trip, but you gotta have the tools (drill, rivet gun).

Mine also wiggles from side to side, usually about 50mph and up. It has done it since day one. I just thought it was supposed to be that way beings I have the fold-flat seat.

Yeah, I realize that the TSB doesn't cover the 07s and 08s, but I figured what the heck. This thing is 3 weeks old and I hate rattles. They are redoing the main road out of my subdivision right now (probably take a year!) and that seat was driving me nuts since it was both the side to side motion along with a rattle. Anyway, I'll know sometime today or this evening if they fixed it.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but it seems like a bunch of us with '08s are still having the same problem. Has anybody had any luck getting their dealers to perform this TSB on '07 and '08 models? Thanks

Edit: I just found TSB # NTB08-063 (Right Front Seat Vibration @ Highway Speeds) which covers '07 and '08 model Frontiers. Not much info about it on line but at least you will have the # to show your dealer.

Well, I'd be interested to see that TSB.

I can say I did do the 06 TSB on my pass seat myself, and it hasn't rattled since, been a few months and maybe 2 or 3k miles.

So would I. So far all I have found is the existence of it based on the # and the title, but nobody seems to have a link to the actual wording of it.

What type of additional bracing did you guys put on the seat?? I want to fix the rattling myself and I was wondering what seemed to work best.
