07 CC w/ 2" PRG Mini Lift and 285/75/16 BFG MT's (pics)

Just got my truck back today, and I love it. Had to take mud flaps off and front valience. Will be taking off the rear mud flaps soon I hope, looks wise. Super giant pictures and a few others available here.

It looks good !

I wouldn't take off the rear flaps, yeah it'll make it look taller from behind, but it'll also throw rocks into cars behind you.....imagine how you'd feel a big 'ol rock screwing up your nice paint job thrown from some duckhead in front of you with no mud flaps. Plus I don't know about where you live, but here in Cali it's against the law, techically they can give you a fix it ticket, but I do see alot of duckheads with out them. Just remember something if you do take the rears off " what comes around goes around" Karma, etc...

Definatly take the mud flaps off before you go wheeling though. When they get caked up with mud or when they get hit with rocks ot anything they rub up against the paint of the truck and make this neat little mud flap line in the paint (thanks Matt if you still read this forum).

those are some big gaps between the lugs and no siping in the lugs, if you're that close on a gravel road, might be a problem but unless they're dumping gravel on the paved roads, throwing rocks shouldnt be too much of a problem. I never find rocks wedged into my tires now (then again, maybe they clean too well) but when I ran AT's on my last truck and even the stockers on this one, there were always small pebbles jammed in the treads.

most trucks around here dont have mudflaps and I've never had a problem with them...the real problem is the rocks thrown by the sanding trucks in the winter (and not thrown by the tires, they have mudflaps installed)

Looks great!

That is the tire size I want to run on my truck, but I don't want to take the flaps off.
Did you have to remove the front flaps, due to rubbing?
I want as much protection from rocks and ???? thrown from the tires as I can get!
Removing the flaps is not in my interest.
