Somebody probably just read the sidewall and thought if they could go to 80psi then 55 would be fine

Yeah I went to a Goodyear Tire Center because that was the best deal I could find ($966 OTD after rebate) for 285/75's. The assistant manager was one of those guys who knew everything in his mind, but in reality knew very little about most of the things he talked about.

No that did not include alignment. I got it aligned somewhere else. Although I think I'm going to have to take it to Nissan because my camber is still off, everything else is within spec.

Okay, now I don't feel so bad about paying $1200 for mine aligned (no rebates at the time). I got 4 of the last 6 on the island for the next month

edit, i run mine in the 42-44psi range

Really like what I'm hearing about these tires! 2001 S/C it says my stock size is P265/55 R17. Will a 265/70 fit? Thanks!
