Ya I used rustoleum wheel paint. I sanded it down and put 3-4 coats of that stuff on each wheel. It holds up pretty good. I've wheeled multiple times and only have a couple of small chips. The majority of the blemishes like you guys said are inside the lug nut wells. But other than that I am very happy with the wheel paint(rattle can). Didn't want to use plasti dip cause I was afraid it would peel easy. But I've heard some good things about it! If you go heavy on the plasti dip you should be fine.
