I actually just grabbed some pics off the X site after searching for the size you wanted to see. I really have no idea about the wheels. Sorry I can't give you any more info.
My buddy in Denver ran 265 LTX A/T2's on his 4Runner. Fwiw, he was not impressed with their capabilities in snowy weather. This may or may not be applicable to your intentions or climate. I'm also pretty sure he does not do any wheeling either...more of a suburban/commuter guy with a family.
I looked this (LTX A/T2) up at Tirerack...and they're saying that some sizes, including a 235/85-16 - have a "different tread" when viewing the specs.
Thanks for the info folks. I found a set of Wrangler Territory that were clearance priced @ about US$116 each and having them installed today.
Much deeper tread and mud & snow rated with the mountain peak/snowflake badge. Don't get a lot of snow here but the E load rating will be better for towing, especially where we go in the woods.
