Tailgate too Crowded

Hey yall, I just bought a new RMZ-4 and just hate how much stuff is on the tailgate and I was wondering if anyone in here has shaved the emblems on the tailgate.. I would like to shave them off, but am not sure if the Suzuki "S" has pegs on the back of it or not. Does anyone have any information?

I know all of the emblems regarding model, trim, 4x4, etc are just on with 3m foam tape a can be removed pretty easily. If the Suzuki "S" is in the same spot as the Nissan Burger (On plastic part of tailgate by handle) then I would bet it does have the pegs, since the Nissan one does.

Equator tailgate > Frontier tailgate

Boy do I hate the big black Frontier trapezoid handle trim.

I'd shave the S and 4x4, keep the rest.

Well, what I would really like to do if it doesnt have any prongs, is take off the "Suzuki" word, the "Equator" and the "S." Then I would like to move the "S" down to the lower driverside corner where the word "Suzuki" currently is.. That is, if it only has tape.. Otherwise, everything but the "4x4" and the "S" will get shaved..

But I agree, I do definitely like the Suzuki tailgate better than the Frontier, but it could just be because Im biased..

There has to be some way to work on the handle and stuff inside the tailgate. Is there an access panel on the inner side of the tailgate? Take it off and have a look inside. If the "s" has posts on the back that go into the tail gate you should see them.
