Nissan does not care about it's customers or quality after your standard warranty is up. You should strongly consider this if you plan on purchasing a Nissan.
^^ dittoes on both counts Zedbra. Rumors of Mitsu's exit from North America have circulated for many years, but have never come to pass. Our li'l '92 Mitsu Expo mini-mini van will forever remain our favorite vehicle I think -- it lasted almost forever and delighted us in every way. We'd still be Mitsu owners, but their offerings no longer inspire us.

No shock here. Zero corporate control of dealerships. My Tulsa dealer parks their Suzuki inventory behind the dealership, behind overflow Kia and Subaru units. New Inventory: 57 Kias, 111 Subarus, and 8 Suzukis. Not a single Equator. This is the only Suzuki dealer for a metro area of 1+ million residents.
100 miles south is another dealer. 1.2 million in the OKC metro. He shows 100 Kias and 28 Suzukis. Of those 28, three are Equators, and I hope you like silver.
Dealer I used (Suzuki of Wichita) has 350+ new Suzukis, including 40 Equators on the lot. Metro of Wichita is maybe 650,000.
Suzuki is useless. i can't remember the last time i've seen one of them on the streets. Mitsu just makes some of the fugliest cars ever.
Suzuki are useless, is this based on personal experience or just you opinion? My brother has a Suzuki Esteem and it has over 160k, doesn't burn an ounce of oil, never broke down and the only thing they had to replace are the normal wear items.
No personal experience with Mitsubishi's, but have you looked at the Lancer, Galant or the Lancer Evolution? If you think those cars are fugly, I hate to see what you think isn't "fugly".

Regardless of opinions on Suzuki, it is a reflection of a continuing bad economy and more American workers who will lose their jobs.
That's the real tragedy.

Agreed, this is the only real tragedy here. It's a shame that more Americans will be out of work now.
On another note...
I know several people who have been very satisfied with their Kia's. I'd strongly consider a Kia truck should one be produced. Granted the styling would have to be legit and not something stupid.
