Based on what you've heard about the new Suzuki truck, Do you believe it will have a positive, negative, or no affect on the Frontier's quality reputation?

I think ITS reputation will be poor, but I don't think it will affect the Frontier's rep.

I agree, if you think about the Mazda B-series trucks... they really didn't have an + or - affect on the Ranger line. Both in my opinion, were just as crappy as the other.

Just my Opinion, though.

To be honest, I'd be pissed if I had a 2nd gen. But since I have a first, I don't have to worry about a copycat. IMO it'll hurt the Frontier's rep. The Mazda truck has hurt the Ranger IMO. I wouldn't want to have a nice Ranger and have little cheap Mazda wannabes running around.

I'm a 2nd gen. owner, but I not pissed. Even though I don't know what Suzuki is planning (design, specs. etc...) I know it won't hold up to any frontier, past or present. It will be cheaper probably and that will appeal to many. Overall, I don't really care. Just gotta wonder... what the hell kinda deal is Nissan getting from this???

I just think the Mazda has hurt the Rangers rep, whenever I see a Mazda Ranger I laugh.

True, the Mazda version of the ranger has to be one of the ugliest trucks ever modeled after another.

Lol, I actually learned how to drive a stick in my G-ma's B2000... it was like a 1985??? Or something. It didn't even have power steering. Or maybe it just didn't work. I think I drove it into a samll ditch once. All I remember is it really sucked.

Purple on a Mazda truck??? ... that's pretty rough.
