New owner, awesome site, nice to meet all of you!!!

Hello everyone,

I've been checking out this site often since taking delivery of my frontier three weeks ago. This is the best forum ive seen thus far when it comes to ppl that know what they are taking about. Well pics to come, I am an EMT / Firefighter in two volunteer agencies in my town in southern Orange County, NY. If anyone knows where the Woodbury commons shopping outlets are you know my backyard. This is my second Nissan; my first was a 02 Altima 3.5SE loaded 5spd that was a misery in the snow w/ its 265 ponies. The frontier in the last 8 inch of snow storm we had was an absolute dream in 4WD with no weight in the bed. I will be buying an Extang blackmax cover this weekend and hopefully other nice mods in the future. Looking forward to chatting with everyone.

Welcome to the club, I'm new as well.

I just ordered a truxedo for my crew cab yesterday, can't wait to get it and install. I agree, this club rocks, it's influence has been instrumental in edging me on to install performance modifications. I'm on the wall, about to jump off because I want more HP, but afraid I might regret and miss the silent smooth sound the engine generates stock. What other modifications are you thinking of in the future?

Well the extang blackmax is coming this week. I need to install my sirius sportster a little nicer; it is really jimmy-rigged in there now. I have two LED dash warning lights I also need to neaten up the install on. In the future maybe the Banks cat-back system. Ive heard it on the Titan and it sounds real badass. Dont know if it will have the same effect on the v6, although the frontier doesnt really sound like your typical 6 cylinder. My g/f wants nerf bars cause shes short so has to pull herself in but i dont know. What other cool accesories are out there that arent too over the top as far as looks and $$$?

This upcoming week I'm having the Gibson Cat-back exhaust (3in.) and 63 Series K&N CAI installed, plus my Truxedo. I'm hoping for at least a 30HP increase. After that, my next step will be saving up for a new stereo install. Probably a new Head Unit, Mono Amp, and 10inch sub for the custom Frontier box. I've already got a 4-channel Phoenix Gold amp that I will intall to run my mids and highs. I'll have to get a bad azz pair of separates for the front of the cab. Then, maybe, much later some nicer and bigger wheels. But all of that stuff is $$$pendy.

I had the banks system on my frontier and it was too loud for my tastes. It had a nasty drone between 2-3k RPM, so I sold it and am planning either to get the JBA or gibson exhaust systems. Check out the billet grilles, they look cool on our trucks.
