New member from Kalispell, MT. I have a 2012 crew cab short bed that I am converting to an expedition adventure vehicle for my family.

Looking forward to all the great tips you guys have!

Protection to start (skids, sliders, 10ply all terrains), a softopper and drawer setup for cargo storage, dual battery, air compressor, and recovery gear.

Maybe down the road a small coilover lift and aal.

I have been reading on here and expeditionportal for a long time and am excited to post some build info up as I go!

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Another Montanan! welcome

Consider a tall hard shell - extra 6 inches makes big difference and advantages of hard and lockable. Weigh about 150# so not hard to take off when needed. Just a thought anyway.

Welcome from your neighbor to the north. If you get a chance next summer join us on one of our camping/wheeling trips over a weekend. Should only be a 4 hour drive to where we go.
