Hey all,

I'm looking to start making some modifications to my frontier. I've got a 2011 black crew cab SV. Long term goal is to take a few months off work and drive around the US with my (future) dog.

Looking for some assistance with some lighting mods and stereo mods at this time.

Seems like a great forum. thanks for all the future help.

Welcome. Any more specifics? What's mods are you looking to do with your stereo and lighting? I have a 2012 SV and installed the OEM fog lamps. It was an easy 2 hr install. Recently put a tonneau cover and CAI on and,it seems to have greatly improved fuel mileage. Haven't done anything with the stereo, as the factory 6 speaker system is adequate for my needs. I do pay for the XM subscription.

Hey,

Well to start with I've purchased the following:

1. https://www.amazon.com/2005-2015-Nissan-Frontier-Harmony-Enclosure/dp/B0161IMJOE
- need assistance with matching an amplifier to these subs.

2. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000UV8FNS/?m=A3NFL10DGYKQ7N
- need assistance with the final wiring to the fuse box i'm assuming. I've already installed the lighting and routed wires hidden as necessary.

3. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Z8TGYR6/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
- need assistance with wiring up the reverse lights to the stock taillight.

4. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MLI6OHC/ref=od_aui_detailpages01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
- need assistance with wiring in general. no directions came with the fixture and wiring harness. There are a TON of wires...

The goal is to buy as much direct and install as much as I can as possible. I want to avoid the expensive issue ridden shops locally which have tough reviews...

FYI if someone would be willing to help with these items in person, I've got a bunch of music / aquarium gear I may be willing to trade for assistance.

I won't be much help with the interior lighting or sub, but there is a lot in the forums on tapping into the reverse light for a backup camera. The power source is behind your driver side taillight. Should be an easy connection. Just look up tutorials for backup cameras in these forums.
