New Fronty owner in WA

Well I'm the pround new owner of a 2006 Storm Grey LE KC Frontier. Just a hair over 26K out the door. Pick it up on the Saturday before Mother's Day but...

Taken from my Myspace:
"Sunday.....yesterday....Mother's Day....now the s#!t hit the fan....
About noon I decided I wanted to go take me new truck for a spin, put some miles on her and just enjoy a beautiful day. Drove to Town Center, bought the Silverstien album which I must say is pretty damn good, can't believe it took me this long to get it. After I left Redmond, I drove out to Issaquah then to North Bend. Stopped by the Safeway there got some food and headed off. Drove passed Mt. Si High school and about 5 minutes later was involved in a car accident....****!!!! New truck that did not even have 100 miles on it yet and it's messed up. This lady I was following decided the she wanted to turn around and go back the way she came. Well she alowed down & moved over to the right shoulder on a one lane in each direction country road (double yellow lines split the lanes). I thought she was letting me pass her and continue on my way. Without signaling (and I assume without checking her mirrors or looking over her shoulder), she cuts across the lane as I'm making the pass. As I was trying to avoid hitting her I think she stopped and I hit her on her driver's side trunk area, spun her 90 degrees and tore off her rear bumper. Luckily neither one of our airbags went off. My trunk suffered a pushed back hood, several dents in the bumper, and some hidden dents of the front frame area where the bumper is mounted too. The police came and took a report and I hope that they fault the lady since she was crossing a double yellow and didn't signal the she was going to turn. I got to talk with the lady for about 20mins and she's really nice just not a good driver."

Didn't even have 100 miles on the clock yet, just hope I'm not found at fault. I remember the lady telling the officer that she was trying to make a U-turn (thus crossing the double yellow) when I hit her. So just got to wait for the police report I guess.

BUT...for the brief time I got to drive it, I was smiling ear to ear

I feel your pain! I wrecked my 350z within the first month of owning. There was a patch of black ice, and I spun out took out the drivers side of the car. I didnt get it back for 2 months, but that was alot of damage. I hope your truck gets fixed in a timely manner!
