Yes a decent spring/shock is the best way to make these truck handle/ride well.

Radflo normally are used for offroad, is that correct? I just want a setup for street with something a couple inches lower.

Radflo's are some of the best Shocks on the market today. They can be valved for street use or off road. Now if I am not mistaken the valving for off road is softer than on road.
The springs that come with the Radflos we get from PRG are from Eibach , well known as some of the best on the market. So all in all the Radflo setup we get from Greg and Jen at PRG is damm good for however we want to setup the trucks.
Even tho I want as good a handling as possible from my truck for when I am playing silly buggers on the racetrack I will still be lifting the front to level the truck.I am hoping that the superior shock/spring setup will mean the truck will still point where I want and go through the corners when I point it that way.

Cheers dudes.

What sort of cost is the Radflos landed in Aus? Are they adjustable lower than OEM height and do they do a lowered leaf for the rear?

Dont know if Greg can do lower than stock but hey he puts em together so just ask him. He helps out heaps of us in here so am sure he will be able to tell you if its possible or not.
He had some on special last month and i scored the 2 front shocks/springs for $649 US for the pair .Check out the website PRG Products

if you want stuff shipped from the US let us know. Firebir2 has sourced a deal with a guy that brings gear over from indy in containers. Its slow but heaps cheaper than paying air freight. You just have to arrange freight from Melbourne

Some more photos. These wheels were drilled from blanks and the back plates were machined for correct offset. Even with 285s there is no scrubbing at all, mind you with the big dish the clearance to the front calipers is damn small.
I think an inch from the front and a couple at the back to help level her out will finish the look off.
When I bought the truck I didn't think I'd be heading down the mod path like i did with my V8 sedan, how wrong I was when I found this site, crap $$$$$$. My bank balance is oh so sad.

Welcome to the Spot. Truck looks awesome. A small drop will really finish it off. Love the color.
