Navara from Western Australia

Hi, here's a few pics of my truck. I'm from Perth, Western Australia. Had the Navara for a month now and starting to really like my first truck. Been pleasantly surprised at how well the V6 A5 actually goes, especially having been driving a mildly modified chev 350 in a Aussie Commodore for a few years.

Still to come is some suspension work (the one area that does need a bit of attention), most probably the Tein Super Streets when they're available, maybe a small sound system upgrade with improved speakers/amp/sub, and a ECU remap(once someone does some base tunes here in AUS), also thinking about a custom exhaust to free up some back pressure and some extra noise(bit too quiet).

Welcome Blue22.

If you want an exhaust, there is an offer going for the Nismo S-tune. Have a look under performance mods.

I have a guy that brings containers in to Melbourne from Indy so it does make it cost effective to bring in big items. PM me and I will send you his contact details if you want them. I am looking at the Hellwig Rear Anti sway Bar. Looked at the exhaust, but decided that I would rather spend my money on a ECU chip or remap.

Cheers

Cheers for the offer I'll keep it in mind.

Would rather have a Tune done first too as they are the best bang for your buck. So I'll wait, shouldn't be too much longer til they're available.

Those Hellwigs are fairly costly though aren'y they? I think the problem with the Navara are the front springs are too soft which causes a lot of body roll and excessive over steer, I'll be happy to swap out the OEM stuff for some quality stiffer springs and decent shocks. Should see a big improvement in handling. Adding sway bars usually increases the springs stiffness which I would think would just make the rear ride quality even worse, you would need some adjustable shocks for the back to compensate

I have Radflo/Eibach front coil overs and Radflo/ Deaver springs at the back, so it handles very well, with the benefit of a soft ride.

Hellwigs are $280USD so not too bad.

Cheers
