Hi Everyone! 'Just bought my 4th Nissan Truck - Frontier LE Crew Cab

Hi Everyone! Good to be here!

I have owned a '97 Nissan Truck, a '98 Frontier King Cab, a '05 Frontier Crew Cab, and I purchased this '07 in May. Last weekend, I had the Cherry Bomb Pro installed. 'Just love the sound! And, this guy is a perfectionist! The aFe Intake, I just moved over from my '05.

I had an Extang Black Max Tonno Cover on my '05. But; this LE has the longer bed, so I cannot use it. It's for sale.
I am considering the Truxedo Lo Pro cover for this one. Also; has anyone added a performance chip to theirs? Thanks!

Sweet Ride

Nice truck....I'm on my second. Had an 04 crewcab long bed 4x4 before, just traded it for an 07 extended cab 4x2 with the V-6. What a difference in power between the new style and old style. Where did you get the dual exhaust from???

Thanks! I had the dual exhaust installed by a little muffler shop here in TN. This guy is great! A buddy of mine had the Cherry Bomb Pro installed on his F150. I saw it, and was so impressed, I lined up an appointment, too.

The tips are rolled stainless steel. The Pro has quite a sound! It sounds like an old Indy Roadster when the key is turned. But, listening to the stereo is A-ok.

The guy is an exhaust system Artist! I'm serious. He owns the shop, and does all the work himself. He would take a look, note the required bend, and go to the bending machine, and get it right the first time! He was back there with a tape measure, and level. Very cool.

It cost me $250 total.

Thanks everyone! The reason I traded my '05 was I wanted power windows, etc,,,. So, I got the LE. Now, however; this one is an automatic. 'Never thought that would happen!!! But; it's okay!

So; has anyone bought a performance chip for their V6 Frontier yet?

I was wonder why you got rid of your "05".....I don't plan on getting rid of my truck in the near future...I have it pretty much right where I want it....lol

That's the plan now. Keep it! That's why I am changing the head unit (MP3, aux, etc,,,), speaker upgrade w/sub box, another tonneau, and getting the front glass tinted.

Then; I'll be finished. That is, unless I do get a performance chip.

With the exhaust, I am showing another .5 mpg. Right now, it is showing around 19.7 - 20.3 mpg. My '05 averaged around 21 - 21.5 mpg. Of course, it was a 6 speed manual.
