First Year Frontier

I recently discovered this forum and was impressed with it. I am the original owner of a 98 KC XE and am nothing but pleased with it still. It's at 135,000 and still runs and looks like new. I just got 26.5 MPG on a 75 MPH trip from Maine to Rhode Island with A/C on. Here's hoping it keeps this up. The only major things it's needed is a torsion bar, a gas tank (rusted seam) and fuel pump (rusted fitting). My neighbor got 250,000 out of his 87 Hardbody and 150,000 on his 97 Hardbody before he totaled it. They had the same 2.4 engine as mine. I wonder if the new Frontiers with the 2.5 will be as bulletproof as the 2.4s were. Any thoughts on that? Anyway, thanks for having me on your forum and I'll be watching.

Welcome to the club. This is one of the friendliest forums around. You may want to get with Jaypee, he just bought a 2000 KC XE with 250,000 miles on it. My 2000 CC SE has 66,000 on it. I hope it keeps up as long or longer than yours.
