Coolant Leak on V6 3.3L

I have a 2000 Nissan Frontier 4x4, V6 3.3L. I have been smelling coolant for a while and found coolant on the front of the block close to the bypass hose where it goes in to the thermostat housing. Leak is near number one cylinder, using firing order, front right of engine. I cannot tell where the coolant is coming from. The bypass hose? The gasket where the thermostat housing meets the block. I have looked with a small mirror and light to no end. Where does the water pump weep hole drip when the water pump needs repair? The pics are of the spot on the block, the number one plug wire is removed to show the rust stain on the block. The other pic shows the area with the plug wire in place. I am medically disabled and can do some work on this. I am thinking of changing the bypass hose, as I cannot be sure the leak is not there. Nissan last changed the bypass hose in March of 2006. I changed all the other coolant hoses July 2007. Knowing where the water pump weeps would be a big help. Thanks.
