It does transfer weight, but it cannot solve a traction condtion caused by a slippery road surface.

Ehhhh....Wow!

Got-it....
The install was pretty straight forward after calling a tech. (Dave) I made the instructions more complicated; everything is where it should/could be.. was kinda iffy about drillin' 11/16th'' hole through the outside frame to accomodate the steel sleeve tho'. (welding optional)
Didn't even take a wheel/spare tire off.. and it's very adjustable.

I've got a "urban Nismo" so a rear sway was a good idea.. first driving impression was Ehhhh.. it's not all that; decided to adjust the "angles" I choose for the install (short links/bar back = more clearance) to longer links (adjustable) + "squared" the bottom mount... Wow! Understeer and rear slop was dramaticly reduced; sorta drives like a big car, less front push and getting rear pull.

I LIKE IT! some more tuning to find the sweet spot and it's all gravy.

I think the question was issues off road not the durability of the bar/end links themselves. I like having a sway bar and as so need some way to be able to disconnect it for off road. But as one who uses or plans to use my truck off road the real problem I see is simply the way/location of the sway bar. It would have to be mounted behind or above the axle so as not to interfere with ground clearance which is most important off road, thanks.

In its current installation it is no lower than the shock brackets. The brackets can be rotated rearward to move the bar up. If your vehicle is stock height the end links may be too long but we can provide a shorter lower half to make up the difference. If you have a lift then it would be no problem. Just watch for brake lines, etc.
