285.40.22 should fit without rubbing if your truck is stock height and your wheel has an offset between 25-47mm.

Are you looking for a street tire or an AT? What is the offset of your rim and do you have a lift or a drop?

While we're all asking questions I have one too. I want 31x10.5 BF AT KO's on a 15x8 wheel but can't find any brand period that will fit our back spacing and with the 6x114.3 lug pattern. Only option I can think of is a wheel adapter that pushes past the brake caliper (6x4.5 adapter) and allows the 15" size but I'm not sure that would be a good idea b/c that puts additonal stress on the wheel bearing, otherwise I'd have to go with a bigger wheel which I don't want to do b/c I have a 4cyl. and don't want the additional weight/cost $$$ mainly of a 265/75 R 16.

In addition if I went with the adapters, could discount tire beat this price?
http://www.tirepackage.com/shoppingcart.aspx with tax it comes out to $994.50

Is there a 15" wheel out there that fits (besides OEM)?

Thanks for the help

The link says your cart is empty but that's ok. We agree with you on the adapters/spacers, they aren't the best idea. Our stores won't install them and actually, they won't even touch any car with them, not even for just a balance. If we carry a similar wheel to the wheel you are looking at we will do our best to match the delivered price. PM us a link to the individual items and we'll be able to see what you are looking for.

Also, as for the 15" options..... There might be a few that will work but they would be more of an off road stance wheel, (low offset 15x They are also Steel and reflect the heavy weight that comes with it and would probably end up weighing the same if not more than the 16" wheels.

As for 16" wheels and tires. The 16" OE set up weighs about 59lbs. If you go with a 16" cast wheel and a highway or lighter weight AT tire you shouldn't be too far off that. PM us more about what you are looking for. Finish, style, and the type of tire you want and we will do our best to point you in the right direction.

No problem,

We can price match that price if that’s what you would like. Give Matt a call at 1.888.459.4080 ext 1865. He will be happy to get them ordered up for you. This typically takes about 7-10 days for delivery if Pro Comp has them in stock.

We also have the 16" MB Predator in stock. These would be very close to the same price and could be shipped today. ETA to San Diego would be about 3-4 days. (maybe sooner) Call Matt for details.

Glad to have you on board. I have a odd question. I want some black steel "looking" wheels but I don't want the weight of them to crash my MPG. Do you have any black steel "looking" wheels that would fit a 2000 Nissan Frontier Desert Runner with 31x10.5 15R?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You've got a tricky truck to fit, even trickier for smaller wheels. If you are looking for more of an off road stance I have one possible option and they are on sale. The MB Razor. They are built for off road/ lifted fitments. They don't come up in my guide when I search by your truck so you would need to test fit. Your truck has a large front hub that can be hard to get over. According to our guide, a 15x8 with a -19mm offset will stick out about 1" from your fender. (not counting the tire) They are machine finished (clear coated as well) but if you want the steel wheel look, a little black self-paint-job could do the trick.

Other than that, I don't see any other options in our system. If you come across some others yourself, let us know, we will do our best to order them in for you.
