A few of you have questions reguarding this. Here is the information we have for the Nissan Frontier:
2005-2008 NISSAN FRONTIER TPMS RESETTING INSTRUCTIONS
A quick reset can be performed using the scan tool:- Turn ignition switch to on position
- Start at left front with the scan tool to activate sensor.
- Then proceed clockwise around the vehicle.
- After the fourth sensor has been activated the TPMS light will go out. TPMS light may go out prior to fourth sensor being activated.
If you do not have a scan tool this system will automatically reset itself after setting the correct placard pressure and driving for about 10 minutes.
If you break a sensor:
Replacing sensors requires the sensors ID to be entered into the computer for the position it is located at. To do this requires a Data-Link connector. If you do not have a Data-link connector you cannot reset this system after a sensor is replaced.
