What is SAS?

Hey all im sorry if this has been asked 1000 times but i couldnt search for SAS so i figured id be a pain. Ive seen SAS all over these boards and i have no idea what it means...could anyone enlighten me?

Solid Axle Swap. I dont off road at all tho hahaha. Probably ditching the stock crap for a ford 9" or along those lines.

youd be surprised how cheap you could do it
if you know people who have a fab. shop, and if you know how to work a welder
doin it yourself will save you tons
