fact of matter- you wheel tough with factory stuff your going to break things so if you dont want to break things then upgrade to custom/non factory diffs/gears/lockers/etc.

its all about slippage and then grabbing again , pretty much all the front diffs being blown are because people are getting on the skinny pedal and slipping then when they grab the torque just pops the gears or the end of the cv , of the 2nd gens im one of the few that does trails 5+ and i have yet to have any kind of failure front or rear diff , rear is mainly cause i dont have a computer telling the locker to come on when it shouldnt , but front diffs blowing are mostly driver error

but maybe just getting the titan diff and upgrading it would be suitable.

The last time I look we did have the same T-case.

well i was under the impression that the stock front diff was just faulty from the start. But if it is driver mistake that breaks it then all i need to do is not floor it when slipping and I shouldn't have anything to worry about.

I have wheeled pretty damn hard in mine never had a problem. They are weak, 180MM ring gears, so not exactly D60 material here, but again, most of the people that have problems are running really hard on the gas. the AZ guys will tell you how hard I have beat on mine, and I never had a problem. Now, if the gearing was right(which it wasnt) I would still have done it just for peace of mind purposes. thats why mike did it..... but its not like a requirement to take it on a dirt road or anything
